Officer - Stores

About the role

Reporting to the Supervisor – Supply, the Officer – Stores is responsible for maintaining safe, reliable and efficient warehouse and inventory operations across the Ernest Henry site. You will play a critical role in supporting both surface and underground teams by receiving, storing, issuing and tracking goods to ensure stock accuracy and timely fulfilment of operational requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving, unloading, sorting and storing inventory safely and efficiently
• Performing regular stock checks, cycle counts and accurate CMMS data entry
• Issuing, picking, packing and dispatching materials for site operations
• Coordinating repairable items, returns and service exchanges
• Operating materials‑handling equipment (e.g., forklift, telehandler) in line with safety standards
• Supporting contractor activities and assisting with training of new team members
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards and actively contributing to safety initiatives

About You

You are an organised, safety‑conscious team member with experience in warehousing, logistics or stores environments. Strong time‑management skills, clear communication, and the ability to follow established procedures are essential. You bring solid computer skills (Pronto/CMS/MS Office), attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accurate stock levels and efficient workflows. A manual driver’s licence and a high‑risk licence (e.g., forklift) are also required.
