About the Company
Pearl Recruitment are excited to partner with a leading provider of engineering design solutions to the mining industry, who are currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Office Administrator to support their growing team in Perth CBD. This role is being offered as a 7 - 8 month maternity leave cover, with commencement required in early July to allow for a thorough handover.
About the Role
Office Administrator (Part-Time) Perth CBD Location 7 - 8 Month Maternity Leave Cover Monday to Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm (Some Flexibility Available with Hours) Commencement early July Casual Rate of $40 - $50hr + Super (pending experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a point of contact for overflow incoming calls, general queries and internal employee enquiries
- Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assisting in completion of payroll and employee set up within Xero
- Supporting invoicing processes and working closely with the Accounts and Engineering teams to ensure invoices are completed accurately and on time
- Raising and managing general purchase orders
- Supporting the People & Culture and Finance teams with ad hoc administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
What are the requirements?
- Proven experience in an administration role supporting finance or HR (ideally within payroll, accounts and general invoicing functions)
- Experience using Xero (essential)
- Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Full working rights for the duration of the assignment
