About the Role

The Opportunity:

You’ll make a meaningful impact by collaborating with operational teams, supporting exposure monitoring programs, and helping to develop and implement effective occupational hygiene practices for our Sustainability team at our Gruyere Site.

What You’ll Do

  • Support occupational hygiene programs and health risk management activities.
  • Conduct exposure monitoring including dust, noise, vibration and water.
  • Assist with health incident investigations, risk assessments and controls.
  • Analyse monitoring data, identify trends and support reporting compliance.
  • Provide practical guidance to leaders and promote hygiene awareness.
  • Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Hygiene, Health Science, Environmental Health or similar
  • Mine Air Quality Officer and Noise Officer certification are desirable
  • Experience in Occupational Hygiene roles (mining or heavy industry experience preferable)
  • Understanding of WA legislation and workplace exposure standards
  • Membership (or working toward) of the AIOH highly regarded
  • Hold a Driver’s Licence
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships on site
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop relationships
