OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE
FIFO 4/3 | $63.85 + Super | 6-Month Initial Contract

We are currently partnering with a well-established mining organisation to recruit a Occupational Health Nurse to join their Health & Safety team. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career with a respected operator in the WA mining sector.
The Opportunity
- Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension
- FIFO roster: 4/3 (Flights from Perth Only)
- $63.85 per hour + superannuation
- Paid 12-hour days
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Health & Injury Leadership team, you will:
- Conduct respiratory and hearing protection fit testing
- Undertake health monitoring activities including audiometric testing, spirometry, and health questionnaires (within defined scope)
- Support investigations by gathering relevant health and hygiene data
- Assist with atmospheric and noise sampling activities
- Contribute to ventilation planning and equipment management
- Support site health initiatives, engagement programs, and presentations
- Perform in-field verification of health and hygiene controls
- Track, analyse, and report compliance and trend data
- Maintain currency with WA mining health and safety legislation
- Utilise site-based health and safety software systems
About You
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Degree qualification (or working towards completion) in Occupational Hygiene, Occupational Health, or related discipline
- Practical exposure to occupational health and/or hygiene in an industrial or mining environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
- Knowledge of WA mining health and safety legislation
- AIOH membership, AHPRA registration, or similar (highly regarded)
- Ability to pass a full medical, including musculoskeletal and fitness assessments, plus drug and alcohol screening
- Current C-Class Manual Driver's Licence
