The Opportunity

Working as part of our production team, you'll safely operate a variety of heavy mining equipment while helping achieve daily production targets. You'll play an important role in maintaining safe, efficient operations and ensuring equipment is cared for to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a range of production mining equipment including Haul Trucks, Dozers and Graders
• Operate additional equipment including Water Trucks, Loaders and Excavators where required
• Complete pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Report equipment defects and maintenance requirements
• Follow site safety procedures and operational standards
• Work collaboratively with Supervisors and fellow operators to achieve production targets
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and take pride in equipment care

About You / Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in an open-cut production mining environment
• Proven operating experience on Haul Trucks
• Proven operating experience on Dozers
• Proven operating experience on Graders (and/or Water Trucks, Loaders, Excavators)
• Relevant RII competencies and/or a verifiable operating history
• A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• The ability to satisfy all pre-employment and site access requirements
