The Opportunity

Techforce is currently seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for ongoing production mining operations at Mount Carlton Mine, located in the Bowen Basin, QLD.

Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating CAT 777 or larger haul trucks within a hard rock mining environment. You will join a high-performing production team, contributing to the safe and efficient transport of ore across the site.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment on a well-established mine with modern facilities and strong prospects for permanent placement. Candidates with hard rock experience are highly preferred; however, experienced coal operators will also be considered.

  • Rotating roster: 8/6 - 7/7 Roster
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Competitive pay rates up to $53/hour
  • DIDO or BIBO from Townsville (primary) and Mackay (secondary)
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity
  • Work on a well-resourced site with new facilities and strong support systems

Experience & Requirement:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in production mining (preferred)
  • Experience operating CAT 777 or larger haul trucks
  • Current Standard 11 (S11) and relevant site competencies
  • Clean National Police Check (within the last 6 months)
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to work within a team
  • Current valid driver’s licence

Desirable:

  • Hard rock mining experience highly regarded
  • Coal mining experience will also be considered

Additional Requirements

  • Demonstrated strong safety mindset and adherence to site procedures
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Provide two recent, contactable references
  • Must be available for immediate mobilisation
