Mount Carlton- excavator operator

The Opportunity

Techforce are seeking experienced excavator/ digger operators for ongoing production mining operations at Mount Carlton Mine in the Bowen Basin, QLD. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be operating excavators in a hard rock mining environment. This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work on a well-established mine site, with modern facilities. Operators with hard rock experience are highly regarded, however coal operators may also be considered.

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years' production mining experience preferred
• Experience operating diggers on a mine site- REQUIRED
• Hard rock mining experience highly recommended
• Valid Standard 11 (S11) and relevant site competencies
• Clean NPC within the last 6 months
• Strong safety focus and ability to work within a team environment
• Coal operators may be considered

Additional Requirements

• Must have a strong safety attitude and willingness to follow site procedures
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Must provide two recent, contactable references
• Current valid driver's license
• Must be available for immediate mobilization
