About the Role

Mount Carlton Mine, located in the Bowen Basin, QLD. We're currently seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for ongoing production mining operations. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will operate CAT 777 or larger haul trucks within a hard rock mining environment. You will join a high-performing production team, contributing to the safe and efficient transport of ore across the site. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment on a well-established mine with modern facilities and strong prospects for permanent placement. Candidates with hard rock experience are highly preferred; however, experienced coal operators will also be considered.

Competitive pay rates $59/hour
DIDO from Townsville
Temp-to-perm opportunity after 3 months

Experience & Requirements

Essential:

Minimum 2 years' experience in production mining (preferred)
Experience operating CAT 777 or larger haul trucks
Current Standard 11 (S11) and relevant site competencies
Clean National Police Check (within the last 6 months)
Strong commitment to safety and ability to work within a team
Current valid driver's licence

Desirable:

Hard rock mining experience highly regarded
Coal mining experience will also be considered

Additional Requirements

Demonstrated strong safety mindset and adherence to site procedures
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Provide two recent, contactable references
Must be available for immediate mobilisation

Current valid driver's licence
