Mount Carlton - Dump Truck Operator

The Opportunity:

Techforce are seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for ongoing production mining operations at Mount Carlton Mine in the Bowen Basin, QLD.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be operating CAT 777 or larger haul trucks in a hard rock mining environment. You will be part of a high-performing production team responsible for the safe and efficient movement of ore across site.
This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work on a well-established mine site, with modern facilities and strong potential for permanent placement. Operators with hard rock experience are highly regarded, however coal operators may also be considered.

• Competitive rates up to $53/hr
• DIDO or BIBO from Townsville (primary location) and Mackay (secondary point)

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years’ production mining experience preferred
• Experience operating CAT 777 or larger haul trucks
• Hard rock mining experience highly recommended
• Valid Standard 11 (S11) and relevant site competencies
• Clean NPC within the last 6 months
• Strong safety focus and ability to work within a team environment
• Coal operators may be considered

• Must have a strong safety attitude and willingness to follow site procedures
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Must provide two recent, contactable references
• Current valid driver’s licence
• Must be available for immediate mobilisation
