Job Description

We are currently seeking 3 x experienced Mobile Plant Operators for an ongoing project at Anthill Mine near Mt Isa, QLD.

This is a great opportunity to join a well‑established operation with a leading mining contractor (Thiess) working on a copper project for Austral Resources.

The Role Working across a modern open‑cut operation, you will be part of a production team operating a variety of heavy equipment.

We are looking for multi‑skilled operators who are comfortable moving across machines.

Equipment & Rates 
(flat rates)

  • 777 Dump Truck – $50/hour
  • Loader Operator – $55/hour
  • Dozer Operator – $60/hour
  • Grader Operator – $60/hour

Roster & Benefits

  • 2/1 FIFO roster - rotating
  • Flights provided from Brisbane
  • Ongoing work with immediate start
  • Accommodation and meals provided

Requirements

  • Experience operating one or more of the above machines
  • Multi‑skilled / all‑rounder operators highly regarded
  • Valid tickets / VOCs for machinery
  • Ability to pass medical and D&A
  • Strong commitment to safety on site
