As part of this commitment, reporting to the Senior Surveyor: Mining, you will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of production and development targets across St Ives underground operations and its open pit operation through the provision of comprehensive surveying services.
This is an on-site position with a roster of 8 days on 6 days off. Both residential and FIFO options are available.

Skills & Qualifications
- Possess a formal qualification in Surveying (Degree or Diploma)
- Have or be working towards an Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate Grade 1 or 2.
- Previous experience in mine surveying, both underground and open pit, is required for this role
- Experience in Mine Surveying technical applications such as Deswik software, Leica survey instrumentation & UAV technology.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
About the role:

Under the guidance of the Senior Surveyor: Mining, enhance the capacity and capability of the St-Ives Surveying Team to consistently provide quality spatial data in alignment with best practice guidelines and legislative requirements.

Utilisation of the latest, state of the art technology to improve the delivery of spatial services and increase overall effectiveness of the Technical Services and Mining teams by providing support and assistance in related areas as directed.

Contribute to company and statutory compliance obligations through the generation of quality physicals reported on a regular basis as directed.

Assist in the goal of ensuring minimal disruption to mining with the timely preparation and distribution of mining related instructions to appropriate mining personnel and business partners.

Ensure that production and development targets are achieved through accurate survey practices, applying due diligence and ensuring the care, calibration and maintenance of survey equipment.

Ensure that all activities are consistently aligned with the Goldfield’s safety standards, company values and code of conduct.
