About Our Client

Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market and largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

We are currently seeking experienced Underground Mine Technicians to join a high-performing Development team on a casual basis. These roles offer competitive hourly rates, stable 7/7 rosters, and the opportunity to work within a well-established underground operation.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working within the Development Department, contributing to safe and productive underground operations. These positions require experienced operators who are confident working across a range of underground equipment within a development panel environment.

• Operating underground development equipment in a production environment
• Working safely and efficiently within a Development panel
• Maintaining high safety and compliance standards across all tasks
• Supporting team operations and production targets

What You Will Need

Minimum 3 years experience in an underground Development panel

Experience operating:

• Drifty
• LHD
• Haulage equipment
• Shuttle Car
• Relevant tickets/competencies for:
• Bolter
• Haulage equipment
• LHD
• Continuous Miner experience highly regarded (not essential)
• Valid Underground Coal Board Medical (CBM)
• Valid Standard 11 (Underground SOA)
• Current Drivers Licence
