Mine Surveyor

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our Technical Services team at Cape Preston. This is a permanent 8/6 FIFO opportunity from Perth, supporting the construction of a large-scale Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) at Sino Iron.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a significant construction project while utilising modern survey technologies in a complex operational environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide survey support across the construction phase of the TSF project
• Carry out daily and weekly survey pickups and set-outs
• Establish and maintain survey control for construction works
• Support Technical Services and project teams with accurate survey data
• Complete volume calculations and end-of-month reporting
• Monitor prism systems to support safe construction activities

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mine surveying
• Experience in construction phases of Tailings Storage Facilities highly regarded
• Diploma of Surveying (or equivalent)
• Experience with Vulcan Envisage
• UAV / drone operation experience and licence advantageous
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a team environment
• Current WA Manual Driver’s Licence
