The Role

This position will be focused primarily on:

• Core logging and core processing within a copper-gold mineralised system
• Geological interpretation and data collection to support ongoing study work
• Working predominantly within the site core yard environment
• Assisting with RC and diamond drilling programs as required
• Maintaining accurate geological records and databases
• Contributing to geological reporting and technical assessments

About You / Requirements

• Previous experience in core logging and core processing
• Exposure to copper-gold systems highly regarded
• Working knowledge of:
  • acQuire
  • ArcGIS
  • Leapfrog
• Experience supporting RC and diamond drilling programs
• Strong attention to detail and data quality standards
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have a strong core processing background, or geologists who are eager to further develop their skills in this area within a supportive team environment.
• Experience in drilling operations and contractor management will be highly regarded, particularly with Diamond Drilling programs. While experience with Water Well, Hydro or RC drilling is not essential, exposure to these drilling methods will be viewed favourably.
