Job Statement

We are now seeking a Mine Control Operator to join our underground mining team. This is a permanent, full-time position at our Leonora Operations. This is opportunity is offered on a balanced 8 days on / 6 days off followed by 7 nights on / 7 days off roster. This role may be Fly-in Fly-out from Perth, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or residential in Leonora.

Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer you will provide guidance to stakeholders by recording and monitoring daily shift activity and asset performance to achieve positive outcomes.

The Opportunity:

• Coordinate clear and concise transfer of information via two-way radio communication across the underground mining operation.
• Record accurate and timely operational data into the mine control database.
• Monitor and track mine performance data, ensuring accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor mine seismic systems (Citect SCADA) and asset tracking systems (Newtrax) to support coordination of mine activities.
• Assist Shift Supervisors with developing and setting up shift plans based on mining status and equipment availability.
• Coordinate responses and provide critical support during emergencies and incidents to ensure safety of personnel and continuity of operations.
