• Major Gold Mill Refurbishment
• 6 month contract with potential to extend

The assignment:

This is a critical six-month assignment responsible for leading the refurbishment of an onsite gold and mineral processing Mill in PNG. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project delivery, managing costs and contractors, coordinating engineering and technical activities, and ensuring the refurbishment is delivered safely, efficiently and to schedule.

Given the strategic importance of the Mill to the mine’s operations, this is a high-profile appointment with a strong likelihood of transitioning into a permanent position.

Experience required

• Project Management experience in the below areas with a background in mining/process plants and or major refurbishment/capital project experience. We would prefer a candidate with an engineering degree with PNG or EXPAT experience being highly favourable.
• Gold processing plants

• Crushing/grinding/milling
• Fixed plant
• Processing plant shutdowns/refurbishments
• EPC/EPCM projects
• Major maintenance/refurbishment projects
• Brownfield mining projects
• Contractor management
• Cost and schedule control
