Metallurgy Superintendent

Job Description

• You’ll be on site, working a 8/6 roster, leading a small metallurgy team of two direct reports while staying right across how the plant is actually performing day to day.

This isn’t a role where you’re reviewing numbers from a distance. You’ll be working alongside ops, maintenance and lab teams, dealing with what’s in front of you and keeping things moving.

• You will also deputise for the processing manager from time to time.

If you like being close to the circuit and understanding what’s really going on — this is that kind of role!

This will suit you if you like having ownership and being relied on to figure things out.

To step into this role, you’ll need:

• Gold processing experience is essential
• Strong understanding of metallurgical accounting and plant performance
• A problem-solver mindset and ability to get on with it without being told.
