Protech are looking for experienced Metallurgy Technicians to perform work with our client, located in the Pilbara on a 2/2 Roster.

ASAP START

8 month contract with potential opportunity for extension

• 2/2 roster (days only)
• $50.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Sample collection from sample stations and live streams within the Processing Plant
• Accurate labelling, recording and data entry for all samples obtained
• Registration of samples into the Automated Laboratory Facility
• Assist with maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment
• Wet & dry sieving
• Representative splitting
• Filter Pressing

Skills & Experience / About You

• Valid Western Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Demonstrated experience as a metallurgical technician or laboratory technician
• Knowledge of sample collection and processing in a remote environment
• Forklift ticket (desirable)
• Australian Work Rights
• Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
