About
KCA Site Services provides specialist workforce solutions to Tier 1 mining operations across Western Australia.
We have several vacancies available in a mechanical environment with a client that distributes and repairs construction and mining equipment and trucks across Australia in their metro-based workshop, 20min north-east of the Perth CBD.
These Perth-based positions are also available to candidates on a Working Holiday Visa who are wanting to obtain permanent residency.
Roles Available:
- Fitter/Mechanic (Light or Heavy Vehicle)
- Trades Assistant (Mechanical)
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on mining and construction equipment and trucks
- Assist with mechanical strip-downs, rebuilds, fault finding, and component change-outs (engines, hydraulics, driveline)
- Support workshop operations, including parts handling, tooling setup, and general trade assistant tasks
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures and quality standards
Requirements
- Valid Australian driver's license
- Relevant Australian trade qualification (Fitters/Mechanics only)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Forklift ticket (highly desirable)
- Prior mechanical experience in mining or construction (highly desirable)
