About the Company

Our client is amongst the world’s top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from their production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.

About the Role

• Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance across fixed plant equipment within a mining and processing environment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on equipment including conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps and associated processing infrastructure.
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability, maximise plant availability and minimise downtime.
• Maintain a strong safety focus while completing inspections, maintenance documentation and providing support and guidance to less experienced team members.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, Fitter & Turner, or similar trade background.
• Previous experience maintaining fixed plant equipment within mining, processing, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability, with the ability to work independently and contribute to equipment reliability initiatives.
• Safety-focused with a proven ability to work within established maintenance procedures and site compliance requirements.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to provide guidance and support to others when required.
