Mechanical Technical Specialist - Mogalakwena

Responsibilities

• Maintain underground mobile and fixed mechanical equipment on site to the approved safety standards.
• Optimise mechanical availability/reliability.
• Carry out cost control without compromising the life of major components of mobile and fixed equipment.
• Maintain accurate records to identify ongoing problems to ensure compliance with Mine safety and inspection regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Underground mining experience.
• Capable of operating all mobile equipment for maintenance purposes.
• Knowledge an application of safe and reliable mechanical maintenance practices to maximise equipment availability and productivity.
• In-dept working knowledge of underground HSEQ practices.
