Monadelphous Mining and Minerals North West is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors (Mechanical Fitting) to join our growing team in Port Hedland. This role will see you leading mechanical crews across major iron ore operations, delivering high risk shutdown and maintenance works on fixed plant and bulk materials handling assets. You will play a key role in planning, supervising and executing complex mechanical changeouts, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to client specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated supervisor looking to further develop their leadership, shutdown delivery and project management skills while working with industry leading clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical fitters and shutdown crews
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with safety, quality and client requirements
• Develop and review JHAs, SWIs and permits for critical works
• Scope, plan and coordinate shutdown activities
• Liaise with clients, planners and other supervisors to ensure smooth execution
• Mentor and develop team members on site
• Maintain strong safety leadership and promote a positive team culture

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 2 years experience in a mechanical supervisory role within the iron ore or mining industry
• Relevant client site experience is desirable
• Strong background in mechanical fitting on fixed plant assets
• Proven experience supervising shutdown and maintenance works
• Dedication to the safety, well-being and future development of your team
• Must hold s26 Supervisor Certificate (or have the capacity to obtain one)
• Proof of right to work in Australia
• Senior First Aid, Working at Heights, Basic Fire and Confined Space Certifications (desirable)
