Introduction Brunel is seeking experienced Mechanical Maintainers for a residential role in Dampier, WA. This position offers a structured roster, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work on key fixed plant assets within a safety-focused team environment.
About this role
We are looking for safety-conscious Mechanical Maintainers to support maintenance operations at Dampier. This is a residential role only (no FIFO) on an initial 6-month contract.
Perform preventative, corrective, planned, and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment Maintain and repair equipment including conveyors, balanced machines, and car dumpers Conduct routine inspections of plant assets Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and reduce risk and cost Use SAP to record, assign, and complete maintenance tasks Isolate equipment for maintenance and operational work

Proficiency in:
Motor and gearbox maintenance Pulley and bucket wheel changeouts Laser alignment Maintenance inspections
