Your New Role
You'll be responsible for maintaining the wash plant, crushing circuit and site infrastructure at the operation. Working closely with the processing team, you'll undertake planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and operational inspections to maximise plant availability.
This is a hands on role offering a mix of fixed plant maintenance, mobile equipment operation and general site support. You'll also provide operator relief and\ assist with village and infrastructure maintenance when required.
Duties may include: * Planned maintenance and operational inspections * Breakdown fault finding, diagnosis and repair * Maintenance of crushers, conveyors, screens and pumps * Mobile plant operation as required * Operator relief and plant monitoring duties * Village and site infrastructure maintenance * Hazard identification and compliance with site safety systems * Housekeeping across processing and non-processing areas * Supporting mechanical improvement projects and team priorities
What you'll need to succeed * Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification * Current C-Class Driver's Licence (essential) * Experience maintaining fixed plant in a processing environment * Experience working with crushers, conveyors, pumps and screening equipment * FIFO and remote site experience * Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards * Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment * Working at Heights and Confined Space (highly regarded) * Basic First Aid
