Our client is a leading water treatment company based in Kwinana. Due to an increase in project requirements our client is now seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in an ongoing capacity.
What will the role entail?
This role will see you collaborating with the maintenance teams to coordinate plant operations. Specific duties include however are not limited to the following:
- Performing maintenance work on process and utility equipment
- Managing the repair and maintenance of pumps, compressors and piping systems
- Conducting routine maintenance checks of preventative measures
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Ability to perform mechanical fabrication and basic pipefitting when required
What is required from me?
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (essential)
- Construction White Card (essential)
- High Risk Work Licence (Basic Rigging / Dogging, EWP) – preferred
- Previous experience working in water treatment
- Previous experience working with pumps, valves, gearboxes etc
- Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems or ability to learn
- Unrestricted working rights

Role Details:
- Kwinana Location
- Roster: Monday – Thursday, Tuesday – Friday (alternating) 10 hour days, with call-out duties as required
- Salary: $145K + Super (inclusive of on call uplifts)
