Our client, a well-established engineering firm based in Perth’s North, is seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join their team, traveling in and across Western Australia.

About the Role

Role Overview: Join a professional haulage team responsible for transporting materials, machinery, and equipment safely across Western Australia. Operate prime movers and semi-trailers while maintaining high safety, compliance, and presentation standards at all times.

Position Details

• Location: Malaga, WA (travel throughout WA required)
• Employment Type: Full Time (Casual also available)
• Salary: $110k - $130k + super

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate MC trucks and semi-trailers across metro and regional WA
• Complete daily pre-starts, inspections, and basic vehicle maintenance checks
• Load, secure, and transport freight within legal weight and restraint requirements
• Maintain accurate paperwork including manifests, delivery records, and fatigue logs
• Coordinate delivery schedules with operations, clients, and site teams
• Report hazards, delays, defects, and safety concerns promptly
• Ensure trucks and trailers are kept clean, organised, and roadworthy

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating prime movers and semi-trailers
• Current MC (Multi Combination) driver’s licence
• Load restraint and safe freight handling experience
• Fatigue management understanding
• Chain of Responsibility obligations
• WA road transport regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage daily runs effectively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, safety-focused, and professional attitude
• Physically fit and comfortable working in varying site and weather conditions
