About the Company

Altonorte is a Metallurgical Complex located in Barrio Industrial La Negra, 25 kilometers from Antofagasta city. It produces and markets copper anodes, sulfuric acid, and copper in solution (SX/EW). About the Role

Purpose of the role: Execute maintenance, repair and/or construction of industrial furnaces, to maintain equipment reliability in operating plants, complying with safety and quality standards.

Principal Functions

Execute demolition, repair, refractory construction and structural metalworking repair of equipment.
Remove and replace damaged components, ensuring optimal operation during the process.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, stopping unsafe activities when necessary.
Propose improvements in procedures and working area conditions.

Requisitos del cargo / About You

Formación: Enseñanza media completa. Deseable certificación en cursos de soldadura, oxicorte, izaje, metrología e instalación refractaria.
Experiencia: Mínimo 2 años en trabajos refractarios o mecánicos relacionados.
Conocimientos: Dominio de ladrillos y morteros refractarios, trazado, corte, perforado e instalación. Alta movilidad para trabajos en terreno
Salud compatible con las exigencias del cargo.
