Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Armadale & Onsite
Employment Type: Full-time permanent position
Salary: Up to $110,000 + super
Our client is a well-established WA construction business delivering a range of commercial building projects across Perth and surrounding regions. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for quality delivery, they are now seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join their team based in Armadale with regular onsite work.
This is a highly practical, site-based role suited to someone who enjoys being out on the tools and taking ownership of day-to-day maintenance activities. You'll be responsible for attending sites, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring all works are completed to a high standard ahead of handover.
Working closely with the Construction Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining quality across active and completed projects, with a strong focus on professionalism, organisation, and client interaction.
The Role:
- Attending sites to carry out maintenance, defect rectification, and final presentation works
- Completing PCI (Practical Completion Inspection) maintenance and resolving outstanding items
- Coordinating and managing subcontractors where required
- Inspecting works to ensure quality standards are met prior to handover
- Maintaining and managing tools, equipment, and materials
- Supporting basic planning and organisation of maintenance activities
- Liaising with clients on site and maintaining a professional presence
- Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with WHS requirements
Requirements:
- Trade background (ideally carpentry, or similar such as tiling or bricklaying)
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)
- Previous experience in maintenance, defects, or finishing works within construction
- Highly hands-on with the ability to work independently and solve problems on site
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain working relationships
- Well organised and able to manage multiple jobs across different sites
- Flexible attitude to working hours when required
- Current driver’s licence
- Full Australian Working Rights
