The Opportunity

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate maintenance activities across your shift, ensuring equipment availability, reliability, and safety objectives are consistently achieved. You will provide strong leadership to the maintenance team while working closely with site operations, planners, and management to deliver efficient maintenance outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and leading a team of maintenance personnel across shift operations
• Coordinating planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance activities
• Ensuring maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Monitoring fleet performance and identifying opportunities to improve reliability and availability
• Managing work priorities, maintenance schedules, and resource allocation
• Reviewing maintenance documentation, work orders, and compliance requirements
• Supporting workforce development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with site procedures and company standards
• Collaborating with site leadership to achieve maintenance and production targets

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or equivalent
• Previous experience in a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Leading Hand, or similar leadership role within mining or heavy earthmoving environments
• Strong experience maintaining Caterpillar mining and earthmoving equipment
• Sound knowledge of CAT SIS and CAT ET diagnostic systems
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A proactive approach to safety, continuous improvement, and team development
