Golden Grove is a high-grade underground mining operation producing copper, zinc, and precious metals. With a mine life exceeding 10 years, it has strong potential for further extension. The site is currently undergoing an expansion, including the development of a new mine, the extension of existing operations, and major infrastructure upgrades.

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Superintendent (Mechanical) to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and work on an 8:6 roster.

Your focus will be on providing strategic and operational management for the maintenance function, ensuring asset reliability, safety, and alignment with business targets.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing safe, efficient maintenance in line with site plans, guidelines, and statutory requirements.
• Managing planning, scheduling, and supervisory teams to deliver weekly work plans.
• Overseeing recruitment, development, and the performance of maintenance personnel.
• Driving improvements in safety, reliability, and maintenance performance.
• Ensuring HSEC compliance and promoting a strong safety culture.
• Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, budgets, and work progress to meet business targets.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, including previous experience in coordinator or superintendent-level roles.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• Tertiary (or Higher) education qualification in technical trade qualifications & extensive work experience at Supervisory level is essential.
• Cert 4, Diploma, or degree qualifications in Mechanical engineering (desirable, not essential)
• Cert 4 or Diploma in Front line management (desirable).
• Light Vehicle rescue certificate.
• Work Health and Safety Act 2022 – Level 4 – Statutory Position (essential or working towards).
• Experience in maintenance and upgrade projects within mineral processing fixed-plant environments.
• Skilled in maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability, defect elimination, and asset management.
• Proven ability in cost control, budgeting, and business improvement.
• Current C-class manual driver’s licence.

Qualifications & Certifications
