ABOUT CANNINGTON
Our Cannington operation is one of the world's largest producers of silver and lead. Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville.

Flights are direct to the onsite airport, and the mine is only 3.5 km from camp—the perfect distance for a sunset walk or run home along a purpose-built walking track. The onsite accommodation includes meal services, sports/gym facilities, swimming pool, music room, and social area.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent position on a 4:3 roster (8:6 roster considered), FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay shires.

As the Maintenance Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading the planning and scheduling function to deliver safe, reliable and efficient maintenance across Cannington’s fixed plant.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Set performance standards for planning quality, schedule stability and backlog health
• Drive improvements in tool time, workflow discipline and execution efficiency
• Align planning priorities with asset criticality, risk and shutdown readiness
• Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance with site and statutory requirements

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Leadership of technical teams with a focus on clarity, accountability and development
• Strong stakeholder coordination across maintenance, operations and reliability
• Decision‑making based on data, risk and asset performance insights
• Ability to uplift planning discipline, standards and functional performance

Qualifications for this position are:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or related field (Preferred)
• Trade or Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical or related field
• SAP Experience (PM Module)
• Current C Class Drivers Licence
