The Opportunity

Downer’s Energy & Utilities team is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance Team at Eraring Power Station in a full-time, permanent role based in Lake Macquarie. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the reliability and performance of critical power generation equipment. Working within a safety-focused environment, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of rotating mechanical equipment, ensuring assets operate safely and efficiently.

About You

• Site Proficient: Hold a recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate with strong fault-finding, maintenance, and repair skills on mechanical equipment
• Team Oriented: Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a safety-first environment
• Site Qualifications: Current Driver's Licence and Construction White Card (mandatory)
