Maintenance Fitter

Introduction

Our Tier 1 mining client is currently looking for a Mechanical Maintainer for an initial 6 month contract with the opportunity for extension/temp to perm.

Details

• Location - Dampier WA, residential role
• Roster - 5/5/4 with a mix of days and nights
• Pay rates - $61-66/hour + super based on previous experience

About this role

Duties

• Completing preventative, corrective and planned/operational maintenance for all the equipment in the fixed plant area, including but not limited to: conveyors, balanced machines, car dumpers and ship loaders.

Is this you?

• Previous fixed plant maintenance experience - motor, gearbox, laser alignment
• Experience working on the following equipment: car dumpers, stackers, reclaimers and ship loaders
• Ability to conduct high quality maintenance inspections
• Previous SAP experience
• A Mechanical Engineering/Fitting/Fabrication Trade Qualification
• Dogging/Rigging experience - highly desirable
• Confined Spaces & Working at Heights
• Manual C Class Licence (HR Desirable)
• Able to work a varied swing with a mix of days and nights
