Light Vehicle Mechanic

Genesis Minerals is offering an employer-supported pathway to upgrade Light Vehicle Mechanics to Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) via the HME Trade Upgrade Program. This role is FIFO from Perth to Leonora: 15/13 roster. The position is part of Genesis' growth story in Western Australia and supports a long-term career in mining.

The Opportunity:

• Undertake an employer-supported pathway to upgrade from Light Vehicle Mechanic to HME.
• Gain structured on-the-job training and development, supported by experienced HME tradespeople.
• Develop practical experience working on excavators, haul trucks, dozers, loaders, graders and other mining equipment.
• Build technical capability across diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, final drives, brakes, diagnostics, electrical systems and planned maintenance.
• Develop your skills and progress within GMS as our fleet and operations continue to grow.
