About the Opportunity
MinRes Air is looking for an experienced and qualified Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our growing team based at our dedicated Perth Terminal on 4x3 roster.
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the MinRes Air fleet. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance functions — both scheduled and unscheduled — while proactively managing engineering support requirements including spare parts, tooling, and ground support equipment to keep our fleet performing at its best.
Reporting directly to the Principal Engineer, you will bring your specialised expertise to a dynamic and fast-paced aviation environment, supporting our Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) operations across our site network. Some key responsibilities include though do not limit to;
- Ensure the safe and efficient completion of all required maintenance tasks in accordance with Operator and OEM documentation, while meeting all regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and certify the work of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs).
- Proactively manage and troubleshoot open discrepancies to minimise operational disruption.
- Coordinate day-of-operations maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled, to optimise fleet performance.
- Maintain engineering support functions including spare parts, tooling, and ground support equipment.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with all stakeholders regarding maintenance matters.
- Comply with MinRes Air's Safety Management System and all training and checking requirements.
What you’ll bring
- Current CASA Part 66 B1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence
- Type rating on the Airbus A320 / V2500 / CFM56
- Minimum 3 years of licenced experience on or working with the A320/A330 aircraft
- Sound knowledge of current CASA regulations
- Experience in engine borescope inspection and engine ground running (highly regarded)
- Previous experience in a remote working environment
- A meticulous approach to safety and regulatory compliance, with strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
About MinRes AIR
MinRes Air is the newly formed internal flights department providing air charter services from a dedicated MinRes Perth Terminal directly to our site operations, to support our Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) Operations.
MinRes Air will provide complete flight flexibility to respond to MinRes’ requirements to facilitate optimum staff rosters and additional flight capacity for construction and organic growth.
Dedicated aircraft fleet, terminals, ground handling and maintenance facilities (staged), all of which are controlled by MinRes Air and managed by MinRes to provide a complete end to end process.
