About the Role
Downer is seeking a Learning Coordinator to provide accurate and timely reporting, research training options and providers, encourage and source cost-effective training solutions, identify training needs and schedule sessions, record evidence-based outcomes in the learning management system, ensure new employees are assigned the correct training, build effective relationships, raise purchase orders and receipting invoices, and contribute to a culture of safety, integrity and excellence. This role can be based in our Adelaide or Brisbane offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing accurate and timely reporting
- Researching training options and providers
- Encouraging and sourcing cost-effective training solutions
- Identifying training needs and scheduling sessions
- Recording evidence-based outcomes in the learning management system
- Ensuring new employees are assigned the correct training
- Building effective relationships that encourage proactive communication and collaboration
- Raising purchase orders and receipting invoices

What we’re looking for
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Sound administration skills and high attention to detail
- High level of communication skills, both written and verbal, with sound ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience and accuracy in a high-volume data / administration environment
- Demonstrated experience with databases / LMS
- Previous experience in a training industry and / or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly regarded but not essential
Qualifications & Certifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable/advantageous)
