Responsibilities

Role OverviewRedpath is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Electrician to join the team at Federation Mine. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising electrical maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting safe and efficient underground mining operations.Working closely with site leadership and maintenance teams, you will provide technical expertise, coordinate daily work activities, and drive a strong safety culture across the operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise underground electrical maintenance personnelCoordinate planned and breakdown maintenance activitiesMaintain and repair underground mobile and fixed plant electrical systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults efficientlyEnsure compliance with statutory requirements and site standardsAllocate daily work tasks and monitor team performanceComplete maintenance reports, inspections, and documentationSupport continuous improvement and reliability initiativesAssist in mentoring and developing apprentice and junior electriciansPromote a strong safety culture and adherence to site procedures

Qualifications
