Join Evolution Mining's Mungari Operations as a Leading Hand Mechanical Maintenance and play a key role in driving the performance, reliability and safety of our underground mobile fleet. Reporting to the Underground Maintenance Supervisor, you'll provide frontline leadership to a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced underground fitter looking to step into a leadership role, or an established Leading Hand seeking a long-term career with a growing operation that offers genuine development opportunities and a mine life extending to 2038.

Based at our Mungari Operations, you'll:

• Lead, coordinate and support a team of maintenance professionals to safely deliver planned and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Drive equipment reliability and fleet availability to support operational targets and minimise downtime.
• Work closely with Supervisors and Planners to execute maintenance schedules and manage daily priorities.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and technical guidance to develop team capability and performance.
• Monitor work quality and ensure maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with site standards and best practice.
• Facilitate effective shift handovers and ensure maintenance documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, hazard identification and risk management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and root cause investigations to enhance equipment performance and maintenance processes.
• Build strong working relationships across maintenance, operations and contractor teams to achieve site objectives.

We're looking for a motivated maintenance leader who enjoys developing people, improving equipment performance and driving a strong safety culture.

You'll bring:

• Completion of S26 examination and associated risk modules.
• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Fitter Trade Qualification.
• Previous experience maintaining underground mining mobile equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership or Leading Hand experience within a mining maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of planned and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Experience coordinating work crews and prioritising maintenance activities.
• Solid understanding of safety systems and risk management processes.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• S1, S2, S3 (or equivalent frontline management qualifications) highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
