About the Role
Build the future of telecommunications infrastructure
UGL Telecommunications has recently secured a major long-haul fibre infrastructure program, creating an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Planner to join our growing team.
Based in Campbelltown office, this newly created role will play a critical part in establishing and maintaining project schedules, driving forecasting and reporting accuracy, and ensuring successful project delivery across a complex telecommunications infrastructure portfolio. Working closely with project teams, operational leaders and key stakeholders, you'll provide the planning expertise needed to deliver critical infrastructure safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules across the full project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, critical paths, milestones and schedule performance.
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting and schedule analysis to support key decisions.
- Identify schedule risks and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive planning governance, continuous improvement and best-practice scheduling processes.
What you'll bring
- Experience in project planning and scheduling within telecommunications, infrastructure, utilities or major projects.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, forecasting, scheduling governance and performance reporting.
- Advanced Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project capability.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing project outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
