Are you an experienced and qualified Formwork Carpenter with an eye for detail, looking for stable, long-term local work?
Our client, a WA-owned manufacturer and supplier of precast concrete products, is seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Formworker to run lead on their projects based in Naval Base. This is an ongoing role offering excellent rates and a pathway to permanency.
The Role: Working within a busy precast facility your main responsibility will be to lead formwork teams along with reading precast panel shop drawing and helping with estimation of hours to construct panels.
Other duties will include:
- Follow all safety procedures, use mandatory PPE (masks), and keep work areas tidy
- Safely set out, assemble and secure concrete formwork, shutters and cast-in items in accordance with drawings, specifications and tolerances.
- Assist with concrete placement, vibration and finishing, carrying out basic quality checks and reporting any defects or non-conformances.
- Prepare, strip, clean and reset formwork and moulds to support planned production cycles while maintaining safe, tidy work areas.
- Supporting other areas of production as required
About You To be successful, you'll need to demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience as a concrete formworker / carpenter (precast or commercial environment)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality finishes
- Solid teamwork and communication skills
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Physical fitness and the ability to pass a medical + drug & alcohol screen
Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday | 5:00am - 3:30pm (approx.)
- $65 per hour + super (Flat Rate)
- Consistent hours, great team, and long-term stability
