Lead Electrical Engineer

Join a high-performing Power & Energy team delivering cutting-edge projects across the renewable and utilities sector. This is a key leadership role where you’ll drive electrical design on complex energy projects, including BESS, while mentoring junior engineers and engaging directly with clients.

The Role

• Lead electrical design across power and energy projects, including BESS
• Develop HV/LV designs – protection schemes, switchgear, transformers
• Produce and review SLDs, schematics and layouts
• Perform system studies: load flow, fault levels, protection coordination
• Prepare technical reports and present solutions to stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers and support team capability growth

About You

• Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer
• 10+ years experience within Australia's resources industry on similiar projects
• Proven experience in utilities or energy project delivery
• Strong capability in ETAP, PowerFactory, CDEGS or similar
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
