ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent full-time position on a 4:3 roster, Monday to Thursday, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns. Residential option to live on Groote Eylandt considered.
As the Lead Construction, you will be responsible for leading the safe and successful delivery of a portfolio of capital projects, ensuring construction execution, project outcomes, safety performance and schedule commitments are achieved in line with governance requirements.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Develop construction plans, sequencing strategies and portfolio schedules
- Provide leadership, direction and support to project supervisors and leads
- Ensure contractor compliance with project, safety and quality requirements
- Manage stakeholder interfaces across operations, maintenance and project teams
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Leading construction teams within complex operational environments
- Influencing stakeholders and building strong working relationships
- Managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects
- Driving a proactive safety culture and continuous performance improvement
Qualifications for this position are:
- Trade or tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
