Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Lead****Civil Designer to join our growing team working.  Reporting to the Civil/ Structural Discipline Manager, you will be required to provide civil design across a variety of minerals and energy projects. 

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop civil design solutions using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Provide and be willing to learn concrete and steel work design if and when required.
• Review of vendor drawings and design data.
• Manage and provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the project team, clients and to other project stakeholders.
• Produce discipline specific deliverables that meet Primero Groups, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Produce project drafting deliverables ensuring quality, schedule and integrity requirements are met.

What You ‘Can Do’

• 15+ Years experience as a Civil Designer within heavy industrial or resource projects.
• Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D. (You don't need to have used it recently - you just need to be proficient is using it).
• Previous experience in 3D modelling and drafting.
• Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data.
• Understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices.
• Proven ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• Strong problem solving and planning skills.
