WHAT YOU’LL DO

We’re looking for experienced frontline Jumbo Operators who know how to get metres on the board without compromising safety, quality or the crew around them.

You’ll be responsible for driving underground development, delivering accurate drilling and ground support across busy Tier 1 operations.

• Operate Sandvik DD422i DC, Sandvik 421 and 421i or similar development Jumbos
• Drill development headings accurately and efficiently to plan
• Read and interpret drill plans, mark-ups and ground support designs
• Deliver against site production and development targets
• Install bolts, mesh and other ground support systems as required
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, ground conditions and changing underground environments
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew to keep the heading moving
• Follow site procedures, traffic management and operational standards

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Proven underground Jumbo operating experience (min 1.5+ years)
• Strong development drilling experience with a focus on productivity and quality
• Sandvik DD422i DC, Sandvik 421 and 421i experience highly regarded
• Dual Control experience = a major bonus
• Current Manual Australian Driver’s Licence
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screening
• Current National Police Clearance
