El Pachón is a copper-molybdenum deposit located in San Juan Province, Argentina, at high altitude (3,600–4,200 metres above sea level), approximately 5 kilometres from the international border with Chile.

Roads Maintenance Chief – El Pachón Project
Division: Construction Reports to: Roads Maintenance Lead Direct reports: Roads maintenance supervisors, field technical staff and contractors assigned on site Location: San Juan, Argentina. El Pachón Project site. Roster: 14x14.
Role objective The Roads Maintenance Chief is responsible for controlling and coordinating activities during the shift. They lead the on-site supervision team. The role is key to ensuring safe and efficient execution of works, ensuring operational continuity, meeting short-term planning, and early detection of deviations in cost, schedule or HSE conditions.
Operational context The role is performed at the construction site, in a high-mountain environment with demanding weather and multiple active fronts. Requires operational leadership, strong technical knowledge in high-mountain roads, construction, and ability to coordinate with Engineering, HSE, Project Controls, Logistics and QA/QC. Actively participates in daily planning meetings, progress checks, technical inspections and interference resolution.

Qualifications and experience Academic background:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
Experience:
- More than 5 years on large-scale works, preferably in mining.
- Minimum 3 years in leadership roles with personnel.
- Demonstrated experience supervising construction works.
- Experience with quality standards, road and quarry management, surveying, concrete production and planning.
- Proficiency with technical documentation and digital project-control tools.
Languages:
- Spanish fluent.
- Technical English desirable (ability to read plans, specifications and reports).

Responsibilities
- Verify compliance with HSE and environmental conditions on site.
- Allocate personnel across the different fronts of work.
- Coordinate with contractors the short-term operational planning (14 days).
- Track daily tasks and alert about deviations in schedules or costs.
- Ensure continuity of works required to provide safe road transit for various activities.
- Control the preparation and content of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on activities carried out.
- Prepare and communicate HSE and Environmental Flash Reports within set deadlines.
- Initiate purchasing processes for materials or services when required.
- Assume all responsibilities of the Roads Maintenance Chief role.
Key Relationships Internal: SSTT, SSGG, HSE, Communities, IT, Site, Patrimonial. External: Not applicable directly (operational interaction managed via the Roads Maintenance Chief, if required).
