IMS Specialist

About the Company

Our client is amongst the world’s top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from their production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.

About the Role

• Provide technical expertise and support the implementation of the IMS across multiple operational areas.
• Support the IMS team to maintain current ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 certifications.
• Conduct system monitoring, maintenance, and optimisation to identify system improvements and seek to make a difference to the IMS.
• Engage with stakeholders to support effective IMS outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Engineering, Safety, Environment, Training, or IMS systems, with a strong focus on process improvement and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coach, influence, and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Familiarity with ISO management systems, auditing processes, and system governance.
• Internal Audit qualifications and/or Safety qualifications are highly regarded.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IMS processes and systems.
