I&C Engineer

Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer Location: Perth-based with occasional site travel or Karlgoorlie based.

We are currently seeking a motivated and technically capable Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join a growing project and operations support team within a major industrial processing environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of brownfield upgrades, operational improvements, commissioning activities, and control system enhancements, providing exposure to both project delivery and day-to-day plant operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver SCADA system modifications and improvements.
• Support troubleshooting and fault-finding across control and instrumentation systems.
• Configure and optimise field instrumentation and control equipment.
• Work closely with operations, maintenance and engineering stakeholders.
• Support commissioning and start-up activities.
• Contribute to plant improvement and reliability initiatives.

About You You will ideally possess:

• 3-5 years' experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
• Experience working with SCADA systems within industrial environments.
• Exposure to PLC programming and control systems.
• Knowledge of industrial communications and networking principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Experience

• Industrial networking exposure.
• Instrumentation configuration and calibration knowledge.
• Experience supporting commissioning and operational environments.
• Exposure to process plant, mining, resources, manufacturing or heavy industrial operations.
