Hays are the recruiting experts within the Building Maintenance and Service sector. We are currently looking for mining camp maintenance refrigeration technicians to be part of our award-winning clients' relief pool.

Your new role

These roles are temp/casual positions, fly-in-fly-out from Perth, usually on a 2:1 roster depending on site requirements. Due to the casual nature of these roles, you must reside in the Perth region.
Valid Rio Tinto inductions, BHP inductions or FMG inductions will be highly regarded.

You will be carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on commercial air-conditioning and refrigeration systems both on camp and on site. You must be confident in the service and maintenance of chilled water systems, commercial APAC units, ducted split systems, and a variety of high wall split systems. A high level of fault-finding and previous commercial maintenance experience is a must to be successful for these positions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Full Refrigeration Licence

• WA Restricted Electrical Licence

• C Class Driver's Licence

• Valid First Aid & CPR

• Police Clearance

• Be willing to complete client-specific inductions

  You must be available to start immediately following the successful completion of your pre-employment medical and inductions.

These are casual positions, but suitable candidates have the opportunity of ongoing work. We service multiple different clients across numerous sites, which allows us to work together to find the right site and roster for you. Although these roles are casual, there is the potential to go permanent with our clients once we have secured you the right role. All flights, meals and accommodation will be provided whilst on site. Flexible roster - work as much or as little as you like.
