HSET Advisor – Mining Production
We’re seeking an experienced HSET Advisor with a strong background in mining production and load & haul operations. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-supported site environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with mining operations team on site to drive safety performance, support frontline leaders, and embed practical HSET initiatives across active production areas. Your hands-on experience in load & haul will be key to influencing safe behaviours and improving site outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site HSET support across load & haul mining operations
- Coach supervisors and operators on safe work practices
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Deliver and support safety training and toolbox talks
- Promote a proactive safety culture aligned with production targets
About You:
- Proven experience as an HSET Advisor within mining production environments
- Strong background in load & haul operations
- Ability to engage effectively with frontline crews and leadership
- Solid understanding of mining safety systems and procedures
- Relevant HSET qualifications (e.g., Cert IV WHS or equivalent)
- Training and Assessment Qualification
