HSEQ Advisor | Brisbane CBD | 6-Month Contract

Immediate Opportunity – Mid July Start (TBC)

We are currently seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join a well-established organisation in Brisbane CBD on a 6-month contract.
Working closely with operational leaders and site management teams, you will provide specialist advice and support across health, safety, environment and quality, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture across the business.

About the Role

• 6-month contract opportunity
• Brisbane CBD location – easily accessible via public transport
• Monday to Friday roster – 7.6 hours per day
• No weekend or public holiday work required
• Start date anticipated for mid-July (TBC)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert HSEQ advice and support to operational teams
• Conduct site audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Deliver HSE training, inductions and coaching to employees and contractors
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company standards and management systems
• Promote continuous improvement and a positive safety culture across the business

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, Environmental Health or higher (essential)
• Demonstrated HSEQ experience, ideally within facilities maintenance or a multi-service environment
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong computer literacy and reporting skills
• Ability to complete a Pre-Employment Medical (PEM) and Drug & Alcohol Screen (DAS) successfully

This opportunity would ideally suit a Brisbane-based candidate, as onsite parking is not available and public transport is the preferred option.
